Created attachment 337077 [details] Dark inputs Inputs are using the gtk application theme from GNOME. For example, text inputs are dark in web pages if my GNOME applications theme is set to Adwaita-dark. Is this an expected behavior? I find this particularly annoying because inputs do not match the website's style. Also, although the input is dark, the font is still black, making it hard to read what is being typed. Attached is a screenshot from https://www.w3schools.com/tags/tryit.asp?filename=tryhtml_form_submit showing how text inputs and buttons are dark. Reproduced in: - Epiphany Technology Preview 3.27.90-64-gbd34ee2 with WebKitGTK+ 2.20.0 - Gnome Wayland - Arch Linux MiniBrowser from Trunk doesn't import the dark theme from system, so I think because of that the style isn't passed on to input elements.

Of course it's expected, but yes it breaks pretty badly in dark themes.... *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 126907 ***
